Delwyn Bennett completed her Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery at Murdoch University in 2002. This encompasses everything from puppy development and puppy preschool, effective training strategies for pet and performance dogs and veterinary behavioural medicine for pets with significant behavioural problems. Delwyn enjoys working with senior pets and their owners to optimise their quality of life given both behavioural and medical needs. Complex medical cases are a challenge she is all too happy to take on. Spending most of her time at work consulting she is enjoying getting to know our clients and their pets. Outside of work Delwyn's spare time is spent with her horses (Aba and Bagheera), dog (Tango), cat (Nelson) and Husband, Andrew.

Claire Bennett

BVSc (2011, Massey University)
Claire is the newest member of the team, joining us in June 2014. She grew up in Devon, England and graduated from Massey University in New Zealand in 2011. Before her employment in our clinic she was working in the South Island of New Zealand, where she developed a strong interest in soft tissue surgery and emergency medicine. She decided to explore a new, warmer country which lead her to Adelaide. Claire is excited to explore the South Australian region and enjoys hiking, painting, cooking and bike riding.

Clinic Cat
Flynn came to us in 2004 when a member of staff's neighbour bought him in as an injured stray and asked if we could care for him until they could locate his owners. Unfortunately no owners were found and we were faced with two choices - send him off to the RSPCA where he would face an uncertain fate or keep him as a clinic cat. Thus Flynn was castrated and microchipped and is now living it up in the clinic loved by all the staff (most of the time!) His hobbies include eating, sleeping, breaking into any foodstuffs that are left in his reach, and occasionally chasing a bottle cap across the treatment room floor. Keen-eyed visitors may spot him through the consult room doors and reclining on his throne a top the refrigerator! On the 27th of March 2015 we said good-bye to Flynn as he crossed over rainbow bridge. You will be forever in our hearts RIP.
