Preventative Medicine - We recommended annual health checks for animals under 7 years of age, and health checks every 6 months for senior animals, remembering that dogs and cats age much faster than us. Yearly vaccinations are a good opportunity for your pet to be examined without needing to come in for an additional health check during the year. Vaccination appointments include a health check and are recommended for all dogs, cats and rabbits; unless the Veterinarian has indicated the vaccinations need to be postponed due to health concerns. We also encourage owners to provide their pets with intestinal worm, heart worm and external parasite prevention. Read more...
